William L. Nimick
Bill's practice is primarily focused on civil litigation, personal injury and wrongful death, workers' compensation, violations of the North Carolina Motor Vehicle Code, and subrogation. He has experience drafting wills and other estate planning documents and instruments. Bill is heavily involved with our law firm’s subrogation practice including trials, mediations, and arbitrations. He handles subrogation claims across North Carolina including car accident disputes, products liability lawsuits, construction defects, and large fire losses. He is adept at handling expert witnesses and experienced in pursuing subrogation recovery in many fields.
Bill graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University School of Law.
Bill is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals, the North Carolina Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, and other professional organizations and associations. He is licensed to practice in the Eastern and Western Federal District Courts in North Carolina. Bill is also licensed to practice in every state court in North Carolina.
